FROM THE
PREZ…
Hi,
Two reports – That’s how many I’ve missed, the first one I can blame
on the Calendar. I actually wrote a report and I thought I had an
extra week to go but the month finished early. I know that doesn’t
make sense but that’s how it was and I missed the Newsletter.
In that Report I
commented on how great it was to enter an event with little cost in
a Road car on Street Tyres and have fun – Khanacross that is. Great
fun event - especially in a VW. Tom Telford’s Autocross was fun as
well. Good weather, good track and some new cars out there as well
as the regulars.
I must admit it’s a
shame to see that when you get to the pension age you have to
arrange cars so that you can cash in on the scrap value to fund your
next car. It would probably be a dull world if we were all alike
wouldn’t it?
The reason for missing
the next Newsletter – well I have to blame Margrit, once again she
took me away on a magical mystery tour – this time to Vanuatu – now
that’s a great place. Expensive – yes – but I reckon that I could
live there. I mentioned this to Margrit and on the way home she was
drafting up some paperwork I think I saw the word ‘divorce’ so I
have quickly changed my plans.
I’ve had reports that
the electrical work has begun at SEAC Park, so things are on the
move. Let’s hope that we all get some time to assist with some of
the jobs that need to be done out there as well as some of our
maintenance with our equipment.
That’s all for now,
Morry |
